A · previous writing
The first new chorus, including its held-C follow-up. An exact PCM crop of that preserved take.
A new complete solo, not another instrument model or a single-note fix. The falling answer grows through the changes, reverses into a rise, reaches one late crest and comes home lower. Six differently sized phrases replace the earlier sequence of four-bar questions.
Waltz for Ruth · full solo-first A/B · separate writing attempt
The first new chorus, including its held-C follow-up. An exact PCM crop of that preserved take.
A/G/F becomes D/C/Bb, turns upward, then returns as C/Bb/Ab and a quieter G/F/Eb. Notes carry through changes instead of starting over at each chord.
Only new solo writing and touch, with the same original guitar and bass. Guitar playback levels are matched by one constant on the new solo. This is not a claim of soul, human improvisation or Pat-level playing; it still needs musical judgment.

The opening fall leaves the existing bass an answer. Its reply grows past the first cadence, through Am and D7 into G. B becomes Bb when the colour changes. The next longer sentence reverses the fall, carries C across two changes, spends one quicker rise, then makes room for the bass before the crest. The last fall moves into the lower register instead of opening another run.
Pitches, onsets, gates and touch are written together across six uneven sentences, without random timing jitter or a first-note accent reset at every bar. Literal common-tone holds are encoded as one voice through the barline, not just named in phrase labels. The original per-note guitar still has its existing simplified physics.
The shared clock, all accepted bass/theme events, harmony and form stay fixed. The complete take keeps exact original theme/ring-out and closing PCM and exact mix-minus-guitar backing. Every existing recording, source and URL remains untouched.
