How the music follows the game

Questions 1–5: a quieter opening.
From question 6 ($2,000): percussion and tense strings join in.
From question 11 ($64,000): a violin-and-horn phrase enters. It grows stronger for the million.

Choosing an answer adds an accent and tightens the accompaniment. Final answer starts the build to the reveal. From question 11, that build lasts longer: the drum hits tighten, then a brief hush makes room for the result. A win or loss gets its own ending. The music eases back while the host speaks.
