Articulation diagnostic · unapproved
Actual notes.
No synthetic bends.
The current physical guitar changes pitch through connected notes without modelling the fretting finger. This test compares those connections against picking each written note.
Same 19.2-second solo chorus, melody, timing, strings, bass, drums and amp chain. B changes articulation and note gates, not the musical lines. This is not a finished guitar model or a claim of better sound.

Guitar only
A test, not a verdict
B bypasses the reduced legato mechanism; it does not simulate hammer-ons or pull-offs. The physical string, pickup calibration and provisional amp tone are unchanged. Guitar loudness is matched with one constant gain; the backing is identical between A and B.
The full solo has 86 connected arrivals. Those are currently pitch-path changes, not a physical finger/string interaction. This bounded comparison tests that limitation without rewriting another solo or replacing any earlier recording.
