The approved theme leads into an original solo at 0:42. An upward fourth opens the melody. Its descending answers grow into a higher passage, leave room for the bass, then return to the opening idea.
Longer notes carry the phrase; short chromatic lines connect its turns. The last note settles on the minor third above the bass.
